The plan was to boost the sale of outdoor equipment for mountaineers and to increase the traffic at the participating retailers.
In order to win over the mountaineering target group, we just brought the mountain to the climber. A conventional park bench was raised to a height of over 2.40 m, so that it towered over passers-by like a mountain. A sign sporting both a dedication and a QR code for a digital 10% discount voucher was suspended from the bench. The voucher could be redeemed in the shop. The Benches were placed within a 1km radius of the retailers.
The QR Code was scanned over 3700 times. 30% redeemed the voucher. The mountaineers‘ bench was posted on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
